Sound Hard understands the importance of fast and precise delivery times for your critical audio equipment. Although we make an effort to keep stock on most items on this site, sometimes we run out, and some products might have to be shipped directly from the manufacturer at our discretion. If ever an order needs to be drop-shipped or products split-shipped, we’ll let you know via your order confirmation e-mail, and selected shipping speeds will be honored. Some manufacturers have restrictions on international shipments. You will be notified if your order contains any restricted items, and we’ll do our best to redirect you to a source for those items. Most items ship from our warehouse in New Orleans, LA. Please see below notes for understanding Sound Hard’s shipping and refund policies. Shipping Cut-Off Times and Speed Options

Expedited orders shipping via FedEx or UPS, received by 5pm CST will be shipped out the same day. Ground shipments, or if USPS or DHL is required, order must be received by 4:30pm CST. Our shipping speed options are as follows; Ground, 3 Day Express Saver (FedEx), 2 DAY AM, 2 DAY Standard, Standard Overnight, Priority Overnight (AM), and First Overnight (Critical AM). These shipping options are available on sales, rentals, and service orders. Please contact a Sound Hard team member with any questions about other shipping options.

International Shipments

Sound Hard ships internationally via USPS, FedEx, UPS, or DHL. Note that our quoted shipping prices might not include taxes, tariffs or other import fees. Please contact your local DHL or FedEx office for more information regarding these charges.

Rates, and promotional shipping

Published shipping rates are listed as accurately as possible, but shipping rates often get adjusted, and we’ll let you know if there are any changes to the shipping rates on your order. Please contact us for the most accurate shipping quote. Promotional shipping rates will be honored as published and will follow the same policies as listed on this page.

Quality Control

Sound Hard strives to deliver your order in a timely manner, but above all, we want your experience to be top notch. So if your order requires any additional testing or preparation before shipment, such as for rentals or service, we’ll let you know so that you can plan accordingly. 

Lithium Batteries

Due to government shipping restrictions, we are unable to ship lithium batteries by air. All lithium batteries will be shipped ground and may not be eligible for shipping promotions.

Other Notes

  • We ship all orders with SIGNATURE REQUIRED upon delivery. This is unless specified by the customer or Sound Hard prior to shipment. Please contact us at info@soundhard.com or specify in your order notes if you’d like to waive signature requirement upon delivery. 
  • Order Tracking: Your tracking number will be delivered to you via e-mail usually by the end of day on the day your order was placed, although if your order contains items being drop-shipped from the manufacturer, your tracking number might not be delivered until the next day. Please contact us for critical tracking information if needed.

Refund Policy

Please contact us to request a refund for a shipment that was damaged in transit or late, provided you did not waive shipping insurance or a signature requirement. We have a 30-DAY return policy on most sales items, However, sales returns for non-defective, in-stock items may be subject to a 15% restocking fee. All special order items will be subject to the fee that the manufacturer charges us to return the item. Please contact a representative at info@soundhard.com to discuss and obtain a return authorization number prior to shipping the item back to our warehouse.
