DPA D:SCREET CORE– Lavalier Mics 4060, 4061, 4062, & 4063

The DPA D:screet Classic series contains the 4060, 4061, 4062, and 4063. It is a modern take on their original, versatile omnidirectional lavalier microphone. Updated with their CORE amplifier system, this improved version facilitates stronger and clearer audio than ever before. For decades, these mics have been successful in studio and broadcast situations alike and their versatility continues to this day. 

Originally designed for use with wireless systems in theater, television and close-miked instrument applications, the 4060 series capsule is highly unobtrusive.

Because of their small size, these tiny condensers exhibit an exceedingly accurate omnidirectional pattern and therefore do not need to be aimed directly at the sound source to achieve quality pickup.

The D:screet Classic Series comes in specific choices for SPL:

• The 4060 is the original model made perfect for most situations. It provides clear and crisp audio, but very loud noises may exceed its capabilities.
• The 4061 can take louder noises the the 4060. These may include horror movie screams or opera singers.
• The 4062 allows for the loudest audio to pass through without clipping. These may be used for close miking brass instruments or loud car exhaust pipes.
• The 4063 contains similar SPL to the 4061 but at a lower a lower power requirement of only 3V. These are for use with Transmitters that only give off such a power source as opposed to 5V.

The 4060 series is available in four colors: black, brown, beige and white. 

Excellent speech and vocal mics, DPA miniatures are de facto theatre standards. Musicians and engineers use them as live or studio microphones for close-miking acoustic string instruments like violin, guitar, bass, viola and harp. On television, DPA's small condenser microphones are popular as lavalier lapel and tie clip mics.
